Will started out as a painter at art college, but was soon drawn into photography. He went onto study at Camberwell College of Art and after graduating he continued to work on his practice. Will’s work is highly informed by these early days of painting and art history lectors at university. His photos appear poised and considered, almost like a still life painting. He has an interest in capturing the more forgotten sections of society, fading hobbies and niche business, whilst always injecting a unique sense of British humour into his work.
His portraiture imagery has been selected for many high profile exhibitions, namely twice for the Portrait of Britain Show, organised by the British Journal of Photography and 250th/251st Royal Academy Summer Shows.
Will has been working both commercially and in editorial, having shot for Wonderland, Esquire, Google and up and coming British fashion designer Charlie Casley-Hayford, whilst his personal projects have seen him travel across the globe. He is currently planning a solo show focusing on his images of youth culture.
